Out and About - The Mission Inn - Festive of Lights - Part 2

Today I hope to show off some of the fabulous architect that makes up The Mission Inn. It would have been amazing to see this place in it's heyday without all the common conveniences required by law but nonetheless the Inn is still beautiful and ya maybe it is more beautiful today than yesteryear for now it's nicely painted with manicured grounds and constant preservation to maintain what once was.
We got there about mid-afternoon before the real crowds and good thing too. By the time we got back down to the ground floor they were checking for room keys and anybody without a room key did not get to go up in the elevators. Otherwise none of these pictures would have been possible.

So here you go...
Ground floor and no one in sight. Once it was dark this place was wall to wall people.

when I leaned over to take a picture my head spun. Not good with heights

beautiful

this is probably my favorite picture. It was spectacular. I would love to do this in my yard.

another one of my favs

I was able to sneak a picture of a hallway where some of the lesser priced rooms were. Fabulous design

Wonderful doors and windows

And real quickly... a few night lights

lots of horse and carriage rides for that romantic trip around The Mission

...Ok, maybe this should have been a 3 Parter...
Everyone have a blessed Holiday!

  1. Hi Lisa
We love staying at the Mission Inn. We drive out there for the annual Mission Inn Run almost every November, just when they begin decorating the place. It's beautiful even then. Thanks for sharing the photos, now we'll have to try to get there in December! Happy Holidays!
